Jamal Asif, CPA, is the Founder and CEO of JA Accounting and Tax Inc., and a highly accomplished Business Consultant and Tax Strategist with more than 14 years of diversified professional experience. His career spans senior roles in audit, taxation, financial management, corporate restructuring, and strategic advisory across Canada, the Middle East, and Pakistan. Energetic, analytical, and detail-oriented, Jamal is committed to helping businesses achieve financial excellence through sound accounting practices, operational efficiency, and compliance-driven solutions.

Jamal’s leadership at JA Accounting and Tax Inc. is built upon a solid foundation of experience from globally recognized firms and large-scale organizations. Prior to launching JA Accounting and Tax, he served as Manager of Accounting and Taxation at Janke LLP, where he led corporate tax planning, ERP implementations, compilation engagements, budgeting, and corporate structuring for a diverse portfolio of clients. His work strengthened financial systems and empowered companies to operate with greater accuracy, insight, and long-term stability.

Before relocating to Canada, Jamal served as Group Chief Financial Officer at MyTM, where he played a pivotal role in securing $6.9 million in multinational investments, developing ERP systems, optimizing corporate structures, managing cash flows, and driving expansion through mergers and acquisitions. His strong command of financial modeling, investor relations, and corporate governance significantly contributed to MyTM’s evolution into a high-performing fintech organization.

His earlier experience includes senior finance roles at United Industries Limited and Masood Textile Mills, where he managed multi-site finance operations, costing systems, budgeting, and performance monitoring. Jamal also excelled in internal audit leadership at Kohinoor Mills, where he implemented strong control environments, risk management frameworks, and cost-saving initiatives. His audit foundation was built at global firms such as KPMG and MGI Worldwide, where he conducted statutory audits, led teams, and ensured IFRS and ISA compliance for major international clients.
